A walk which Is historically profound involves spendings time in the historical village of Eyam, a small village which in 1600’s where a plague broke out in 1665-1666 and Eyam villagers quarantined themselves for a year. The plague was concentrated in London but spread to this little village where there were only 87 survivors and recent studies have shown that the survivors survived because they had a genetic mutation known as delta 32.
